An Update of Sorts

So I didn't to the Maine concerts for reason out of my control but i did see Rhianna in concert. Which really isn't the same but it wasn't bad. She didn't talk to the audience as much as Billy Talent did but she is a good performer. And she puts a lot of emotion into certain songs. The concert defiantly made me a solid fan of her. In regards to The Maine I"m hoping third time is the charm when it comes to see them perform.

This Century

This Century is this pop punk band on tour with the Maine. Their music is so sweet and catchy. They are up beat and romantic. The vocals are amazing and the instrumentals a together and the sound is beautiful. Their sound is different because it's more calm and well just a perfect mood setter. Their songs Hopeful Romantic and To love and Back are a great intro to what the band/sound is. They are someone you can listen and just feel better about your day.

Mayday Parade

I believe that Mayday Parade are amazing writers. There songs have this thing about them were you just have to stop and actaully listen to the words. I was listening to OMG by usher for like the 5th time before I realized that he actually said something along the lines of honey got tities like wow o wow. And the thing about Mayday Parade is you don't have moments where u think wow I cant believe I'm listening to this. I love thier songs "I hate to be you when people find out what thi song is about," "Jersey," "Ocean and the Atlantic," and 'You be the anchor that keep my feet on the ground, i"ll be the wings that keep your heart in the clouds." I'll admit that they have some hefty titles but the words are so good. I'd reckoned thier albums A lesson Romantics and Anywhere but here. I think that my favourite lines are either :

Jessie says she's been here for a thousand days
A thousand days to her that just don't mean a thing
Cause the city makes a perfect place to sleep

He said he brought her things
Like jewels from every coast and songs for them to sing

Musical Inclination

Even through i have little to no musical talent, i did get a music related tattoo. A treble clef, bass clef heart, not the one where the heart is made of the base and treble clef. It's a treble clef where the top part is a heart and the base clef is one side of the heart. But i guess all that is beside the point. The point is if i ever woke up one day with music ability for some strange reason I know what my bands name would be. I like to prepare for most situations. My band would be "I won't say sorry for your mistakes" and the first single would be "The boy I really wanna make cry." Through I don't have album name, I still feel that my band has a shot.

The First

This is the first post, and oddly enough I'm at a loss for words. There are many things that i could say but none of them seem practically right. So I'll start with the obvious: things i like. Which would be movie, music, book, friends and sometimes family. My favorite bands is the maine. They have a concert in toronto nest week thursday which i am so excited for. My best friend and i are going. Their new album is a different sound then their earlier work. Not in a bad way, just they grew up. Last night i youtube their new video for there song inside of you. And i admit it was one of those times where u spend more time watching the video the listening to the song, but the video was interesting. and i did go back later and just listen to the song and it was good. Like i said b$ a different sound but still good.
